New Layouts

Guess What???? You guessed it, I received the new January Kit from Amy over at WWW.Commit2Paper.com and again......It's perfect!!! When I first looked at the kit I thought I would have trouble coming up with some pictures and ideas but once I got it all spread out and started working with it, it all came together pretty easy. Amy does a really fantastic job putting these kits together and you sure get alot for your money. I made these four layouts and still have plenty left!!
This first layout is of "Larry the Cable Guy". Marcus and I went to go see him at Harrahs Casino, he was really funny! This next one is two of the cutest kids ever...two of my Grandsons (Christopher and Matthew)!! I took them to buy new tennis shoes and had to take pictures, of course.
This one is of my brother Rick. He recently moved into a house on the beach and now can just walk out his back door and go surfing anytime he gets the urge. I think this one turned out the best, I just like the flow of it.

This last one is our Daughter Steffanie. We all went to the House of Blues to hear our son Ken's band (Blue Embrace) play. Let's just say that last drink was the straw that broke the camel's back!! LOL

So Excited!

Okay, awhile back Amy over at www.Commit2Paper.com put out a notice that she was looking for a few more people for her Inspiration Squad. Well, after much hem hawing around and a few nudges from Joyce, I decided to give it a go and I am very happy and excited to say I am now officially a Commit2Paper Inspiration Squad Member....Woo Hoo!! With that, I received the December C2P kit (which I must say exceeded my expectations by far) and have started working on a few layouts. The Paper is from the SEI Winter Song collection and is beautiful but....with living in Southern California, I have no snow or "winterey" pictures so I had to think in a few different directions. Here is what I have come up with so far:

Look what I got done!!

I got our Alaska Cruise pages all finished. Did four double page spreads! Actually it was pretty easy, got the layout I wanted perfected on the first spread, changed colors/patterned paper and repeated the design for each of the other three. I used all CTMH products!!

Picture from Granddaughter

Did this layout of a picture I got in the mail from my Granddaughter Zoe. She drew it and cut it out all by herself. Don't know if you can see it, but I just love how the envelope is addressed... "Grandma with Snickers". She calls me that because of our German Shephard Snickers to distinguish me from her other Grandma!

A Few More Layouts.

Okay, the LOAD challenge is over and I didn't quite make 31 but still got done more than I ever dreamed of!! No LOAD challenge this month but thought I would share a few layouts I got done this morning.

This first one is of my Mom's new hair do. This is the first time in my life I have ever seen my Mom with short hair - she has never cut it before now! I think she looks fabulous!!

This next one is of our youngest son and a few of hes friends. They all cooked for everyone for our 4th of July get together. Not only did they cook all the food, they even cleaned up!!
